HESI... ITS MISSION AND PURPOSE

“The overall success of any community is based on the sum of its parts as a collaborative effort that includes all of its segments of its population.”

This organization involves the establishment of Hispanic community leaders from every sector of our local area including; Education, Business, Government and Community Service. New chapters can be formed by forming an organization with the approval of the HESI Board. They elect their chapter officers and develop a program that brings the Hispanic community together to share “HESI Vision and Purpose” and develop a plan to implement programs designed to accomplish the objective of HESI within their respective community. Each future HESI chapter typically involves leaders that have already achieved notable records of high success who are willing to "give back" to the communities and barrios from where they come from.

From Student to President, HESI members will receive career advancement, mentorship, social events, training and executive development seminars that will be offered by successful Hispanic community leaders. Speakers who are considered “over achievers” within their career endeavors will provide the motivation and encouragement at monthly meetings and events. In particular, individuals who have dealt with adversity in early life will offer their testimony. They impart the best ways to assimilate Hispanics within their respective universe including: school, colleges, employment, and as a citizen within the communities in which we live and work.

Each HESI chapter will implement its own committee programs, events, and training seminars based on the needs of its community. Leaders from the profit and non-profit segments of business, academia, and other sectors will help Hispanic students and professionals with programs and meetings.
